Hope Community Church

The King's Centre | 10:30AM

Our Sunday gatherings are the highlight of every week.

At The King’s Centre, we begin our service by expressing our praise and thanksgiving to God through song. We also take time to pray and to hear a talk from the Bible, because we believe God’s word is transformative. We end our service by creating space to receive from God and respond to Him.

After the gathering, we enjoy time together as a church family over refreshments.

We aim for our gatherings to be both encouraging and challenging for those who have followed Jesus for many years, while also being accessible and welcoming for those who have never been to church before.

Sunday Kids and Youth

After worshipping together as a church family, our toddlers, children, and young people head out to their groups. Each group is specially designed to help them encounter Jesus in ways that are engaging, age‑appropriate, and full of fun.

All volunteers who work with or lead children’s and youth ministry at HCC have undergone DBS checks in accordance with our safeguarding policy.

Finding Us

The King’s Centre is located opposite Aldi, just off Bull Head Street in Wigston.

Aside from a small number of accessible spaces near the front of the building, we do not have onsite parking available for church attendees.

We recommend using the pay‑and‑display car park on Paddock Street or nearby side‑street parking. Please be mindful of our neighbours when parking.

Accessibility

We love having a diverse church family and are committed to making our gatherings as accessible as possible for everyone. As a Roofbreaker (disability champion) affiliated church, our building is wheelchair‑friendly, with accessible toilets on both the ground floor and third floor. We also have a hearing loop installed, a lift, and several other inclusive adjustments to support a wide range of needs.

FAQ

I've never been to church before, what should I do?

Be yourself, and feel free to join in with as much or as little of the service as you’re comfortable with. We don’t have a dress code, so simply wear whatever you feel at ease in. And don’t worry if you don’t know the words to the songs or don’t have a Bible — the words are on the screens, and we would love to gift you a Bible if you’d like one.

We’re a friendly bunch, so you’ll feel at home and make friends before long.
